Using SAS Group´s proven methodology, meticulous on-location inspections are performed, evaluating several points to elaborate viable and efficient solutions to mitigate any weaknesses that are identified. Our work is carried out in partnership with the security departments of each company and local law enforcement, always focused on creating and applying efficient solutions for any situation. For that end, the working closely to the business unit is necessary in our projects, local knowledge and intelligence is invaluable for the desired results.

Inspections are carried out based on the expertise acquired from over 14 years of operation and thousands of inspections carried out, in compliance with local legislations and the standards adopted by the national and foreign insurance market. All aspects that may influence the level of security or the occurrence of claims are analyzed and documented. SAS professionals also check the technical levels of professionals in any sensitive areas of operation, so that it is possible to assess the security management applied and the skills of the teams involved.

PROJECTS
RM – Robbery

SAS Group is one of the few companies approved by IRB (Brazilian Reinsurance Body) and the international market (Lloyd’s UK) to carry out this type of work. The Group has performed several risk management projects focusing on physical/perimeter security and procedures in warehouse and logistics operators throughout the national territory. The improvements in security are based on extensive physical, procedural and equipment surveys , adapting the recommendations to the logistical realities of the companies being served.

RM – Banking

The SAS Group inspects vaults, treasuries, branches and bases throughout the national territory. All procedures and other aspects related to site security, operations procedures, custody and storage of cash are verified.

RM – Art, Jewelry and Currency Exchange Agencies

Specialized in risk management for museums, art galleries, jewelry shops and sector logistics service providers.

RM – Logistics

Since 2006, SAS Group has carried out several inspections in logistics companies and distribution centers.

 

SAS has trained and specialized inspectors, responsible for identifying weaknesses and devising specific solutions to increase the level of security in each location. Customized solutions are created to increase the security level of each risky place to try to minimize any attempted criminal attacks.

Motorsports – Loss Prevention Management

Since 2012, SAS Group was part of the team responsible for claims regulation in the main categories of national motorsport. The project consisted of monitoring all events nationwide and informing the insurer of all accidents involving racing cars.

RM – CIT

The SAS Group has already carried out several risk management projects aimed at cash transportation companies throughout the territory. The improvements in safety are based on extensive physical, procedural and necessary protective items analyzes, always trying to adapt the recommendations to the realities of each base.

 

In the inspections, the base is checked for the acceptability, adaptation (if needed) and operational issues and limits for custody. Physical inspection includes whether the safe was built/implemented correctly, if the tracking of the trucks is adequate and works correctly, if the values are kept in a safe place, the base security equipment and procedures, if company employees are properly trained for any type of situation and other aspects.
